CIE actively centers its efforts around environmental sustainability. CIE operates as a “zero-loss” agricultural refiner. Every pound of corn feedstock (primarily sourced locally from Farmers) is efficiently converted into a portfolio of green products including High-Quality Alcohols, Premium Feeds, Corn Oil and Food-grade Carbon Dioxide (CO2). 100% of CIE’s process water is utilized to produce a finished product or is cleaned and “reused” (i.e. back-set) to the start of CIE’s production process.
